Anyway it was The Exec's birthday this weekend so it wasn't all bad, although we decided to abandon our plans for a romantic meal overlooking a twinkling harbour as a warm spring evening was just not going to happen. And we got lots of boring jobs done. And I got very, very motivated to write like the wind.
One day, when I've saved up enough pennies, we are going here:
And I'm not taking no for an answer!
Has anything got you massively motivated this week? Where's your dream destination?
See you on Thursday, I have a sneaky feeling Lady Baggot may be popping in!

My dream destination is anywhere it's not raining! And preferably where they serve fresh squeezed blood oranges, but I'm willing to negotiate that point.
Sun's out now, but I've so much to do I doubt I'll see much of it. Must walk the dog though, but I don't know if I can see in this blinding light!
The sun's appeared here too now, Kathryn, but the garden's so waterlogged I can't get out there! Now blood oranges - I've been looking out for some for ages, not seen a single one. Not even a sniff. Why is that?!!!
I want to go go Scotland but it's probably be even wetter there than in Lancashire! It's where my new story takes place and after spending hours staring at beautiful photos, I think I just have to go and see it for myself... and pack a pair of wellies and a warm coat!
Ah Scotland is beautiful, Marie. Find somewhere with a roaring log fire and plenty of hot toddies!
